What You'll Do
As a Skilled Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for assembling and fabricating components according to specifications while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Use hand and power tools, including drills, screwdrivers, and other shop equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions
- Operate a variety of industrial machinery and fabrication equipment
- Measure and cut extruded aluminum to specified lengths using a chop saw
- Assemble steel components according to specifications
- Operate fabrication equipment such as grinders, drill presses, brakes, rolls, shears, and flame cutters
- Cut, bend, grind, and adjust materials as needed
- Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality and specification requirements
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn and grow.
Qualifications include:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Previous skilled assembly, fabrication, or manufacturing experience preferred
- Comfortable using hand and power tools
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, drawings, and written instructions
- Experience operating industrial machinery and fabrication tools
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Dependable and reliable
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Willingness to complete a required drug screening
- Desire for continued growth and learning
