Role Description
📊 We’re Hiring: Controller 📊
Take the lead in overseeing accounting and financial operations across multiple divisions. As Controller, you’ll manage a small team, ensure accurate reporting, maintain compliance, and provide leadership with actionable financial insights.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise accounting staff and oversee AP/AR, credit card approvals, check signing, and RFP processes.
- Manage month‑end and year‑end close, prepare financial statements, reconciliations, and management reporting.
- Support multi‑division operations including Membership, Partnerships, and special initiatives.
- Ensure grant compliance and reporting, including federal and state requirements.
- Partner on audits, tax filings, budgets, and special projects.
- Deliver financial insights to guide leadership decisions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 7 years of progressive accounting experience.
- 3 years in supervisory or management roles.
- Experience with close processes, reconciliations, and multi‑division financial operations.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- CPA and nonprofit accounting experience preferred.
- Grant reporting/compliance experience a plus.
