Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Tools Sales Associate to join our retail team. Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting tools and related products that meet their needs
- Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits of various tools and equipment
- Operate POS systems efficiently for sales transactions, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Upsell complementary products to maximize sales opportunities
- Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring product availability
- Manage inventory levels through stock replenishment and stock rotation
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, offering product recommendations, and resolving issues promptly
- Assist in store merchandising efforts to create attractive displays that promote sales
- Ensure the checkout area is clean, organized, and ready for customer transactions
Experience
- Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is highly desirable
- Supervising experience is a plus for candidates interested in leadership roles
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and retail math is essential
- Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette and bilingual abilities (preferably Spanish/English), are advantageous
- Experience with product demos, upselling techniques, merchandising, stocking, and cashiering will be beneficial
- Basic math skills are necessary for accurate transactions and inventory management
