Position Overview:
We are looking for a reliable and organized Customer Service Specialist, Routing and Dispatching Coordinator to support our office operations. This full-time role involves managing customer accounts, coordinating routing and dispatching, performing general administrative duties, and some light cleaning tasks to maintain a clean and safe work environment. This is a full-time position—no exceptions.
Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage customer accounts including billing inquiries, service requests, and issue resolution.
- Coordinate and adjust daily routing to optimize efficiency and ensure timely service.
- Dispatch drivers, managing schedules and responding to operational needs.
- Perform general office duties such as data entry, filing, phone answering, and correspondence.
- Communicate regularly with drivers and field personnel to address routing or service concerns.
- Maintain accurate records of routes, customer interactions, and operational activities.
- Assist with light cleaning tasks to keep the office and workspace orderly and safe.
- Work collaboratively with others to support team goals and maintain a positive work environment.
- Accept and implement directions and corrective feedback from management.
- Work with management to improve processes and enhance customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Experience in customer service, office administration, dispatching, or route management is preferred.
- Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Must maintain a professional appearance and behavior.
- Ability to work well independently and especially with others in a team environment.
- Willingness and ability to work some overtime as needed.
- Ability to take directions and corrective feedback positively and apply it effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with routing software and proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar tools.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.
- Customer-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
Work Environment:
Office-based role with standard business hours. Fast-paced work environment with some flexibility required to meet operational demands, including occasional overtime.
Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
