Critical Work Responsibilities Include
- Apply expert qualitative and quantitative methods to assess and improve threat screening effectiveness and complex management systems, processes, and procedures; document best practices, train, mentor, and provide quality assurance for more junior staff.
- Utilize deep knowledge of threats, screening operations, USIC databases, and analytical techniques to conduct high-level studies and develop well-supported conclusions and recommendations.
- Lead Unit teams, organize analytical efforts, mentor, train, and ensure quality, accuracy, and thoroughness of work; collaborate with management to implement changes that may involve significant resource shifts and procedural overhauls.
- Understand a broad range of administrative laws, policies, and regulations relevant to TSC programs and ensure they are thoroughly implemented and adhered to; quickly gain insight into TSC’s mission, goals, and interagency relationships to evaluate program impacts.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to provide strategic direction, identify system and process gaps, and support enterprise-level planning and decision-making.
- Clearly and persuasively present findings and recommendations through reports, briefings, and visual data products, and effectively advise executive management on sensitive issues.
- Deliver expert-level guidance on organizational assessments, threat and vulnerability analysis, and the resolution of complex operational and intelligence challenges.
- Must have an active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph.
- At least 7 years of relevant experience in a related field and/or position.
- Master’s Degree in related field (or Bachelor’s degree and 9 years of relevant experience, Associate Degree an 11 years of relevant experience, or 6 years of relevant experience).
