Daily Responsibilities:
- Provide efficient support with the setup, operation, and maintenance of the press to ensure product quality, safety, and effective waste management
- Prepare and maintain necessary documentation for the pressroom
- Contribute to a team effort by ensuring the press is stocked with materials and operating properly
- Adhere to company work rules and safety regulations
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and pressroom
Required Skills:
- Demonstrate effective time management skills on multiple projects with varying deadlines
- Willingness to learn and adapt to changing processes and technologies
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- High levels of customer service
- Clear and effective communication skills
Education, Skills, and Experience:
- Required: High School diploma or equivalent
- Required: Mechanical aptitude
- Preferred: Experience with measurements and calculations; experience in the print industry
- A Plus: Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing
Salary and Benefits:
Compensation at Smyth is based on the skills and experiences you bring. Our full benefits package includes health, dental, vision, PTO, paid holidays, short- and long-term disability, life insurance, and more. The minimum salary for this position is $46,000, with a maximum salary of $54,000.
