Shift Available: Monday-Friday, 3:00pm-11:00pm

Compensation is based on skills and experience

Key Responsibilities for General Expeditor include:

• Maintain General Expeditor schedule; manage communication around schedule changes
• Directs all staging resources; coordinate with pre-Finishing to ensure that all materials are ready prior to changeover
• Provide direction and training for Finishing support staff
• Preparing appropriate quality sign-off documentation for assigned tasks
• Performing required preventive maintenance on assigned finishing equipment
• Working closely with teams/departments to create an environment that supports workflow and continuous improvements of finishing operations

The ideal candidate for General Expeditor must demonstrate:

• Ability to make fact-based decisions and troubleshoot print and press problems to keep projects running smoothly and efficiently
• Willingness to learn and adapt to changing technologies (hardware and software)
• Effective time management skills to meet deadlines on multiple long- and short-term projects
• Clear communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with a diverse group of people and personalities
• Ability to provide high levels of customer service, responding promptly and thoroughly to the inquires of internal customers

Education, Skills, and Experience for General Expeditor:

• Required: High school diploma or equivalent
• Required: Ability to lift up to 50lbs, as well as stand and bend throughout the shift
• Required: Ability to read, write, and follow verbal and written instructions in the English language
• Preferred: One or more years’ experience in a similar role in printing
• A Plus: Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and ISO quality systems
