Sr. Full Stack Engineer

Work Hours: Mon-Fri, 8:30a-5:30p (some flexibility)
Contract Term: Anticipated 12-month base period; government may exercise options or surge CLINs. Role is contingent on award/funding.

• Candidate Pay :$60.66 - $64.66/hr

• Employment type: Full-time W-2.

You'll lead full-stack design and delivery of secure APIs and services that power high-impact federal applications. This is a hands-on leadership role owning architecture, code quality, CI/CD, and production reliability while mentoring a small team.

• Architect, build, and ship resilient services and modern web frontends

• Design and document REST/GraphQL APIs and service contracts

• Establish and enforce engineering standards, testing strategy, and code reviews

• Own CI/CD pipelines, container builds, and infrastructure-as-code

• Optimize performance, reliability, and observability (metrics/tracing/logging)

• Collaborate closely with product, data, and security to deliver roadmap commitments

• 7-10 years professional software engineering with recent senior/lead experience

• Expertise in one or more back-end stacks (Node/TypeScript, Java/Spring, Python/FastAPI) and a modern UI framework (React/Angular/Vue)

• Strong API design, SQL/NoSQL, distributed systems, and security fundamentals (OAuth/JWT, TLS, secrets)

• Cloud proficiency (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containers (Docker/Kubernetes); IaC (Terraform/CloudFormation)

• U.S. work authorization; eligibility for Public Trust

• Microservices/event architectures; message brokers (Kafka/SNS/SQS)

• Advanced testing (contract tests, e2e), performance profiling, feature flags

• FedRAMP/FISMA awareness; 508/USWDS familiarity

• Bachelor's in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or closely related field

• Equivalent experience may substitute for degree (industry-standard substitution)
