What are the responsibilities and job description for the 1st Shift Production Line Lead position at Smurfit Westrock?
The Opportunity:
Based in Flint, Michigan, the Shift Production Line Lead oversees a machine line and its employees to ensure efficient assembly of customer orders.
1st M-F 6a-230p
2nd M-F 3p-11:30p
Pay: $23/hr
How you will impact Packaging Solutions Smurfit Westrock:
- Lead and work alongside the crew to prepare products, including packing, unpacking, repackaging, building bundles, printing boxes, and applying labels.
- Receive, log, and track new and returned products.
- Maintain compliance with all safety and quality standards.
- Assist with Team Lead duties when needed.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
What you need to succeed:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least two years of experience leading a crew in a production environment; corrugated manufacturing experience preferred.
- Able to operate PIT equipment
- Proficiency in spoken and written English.
- Basic computer skills.
