It is an account in which all earned credit for vacation, holidays, and short-term sick time accumulates. PTO is earned at a set ratio which increases with years of service. There are seven (7) paid holidays per year. These are built into an employee’s Paid Time Off (PTO) benefit. Regular full-time and part-time hourly employees receive one-and-one-half (1 ½) times their regular rate of pay for working on the paid holiday.
