Job Summary:
We're looking for a motivated and mechanically inclined individual to join our Tool and Die Maker Apprenticeship Program. This paid apprenticeship is a great opportunity to learn from experienced journeypersons while gaining the technical skills needed to become a certified Tool and Die Maker.
What You’ll Learn:
- Blueprint reading and interpretation
- Operating manual and CNC machines (mills, lathes, grinders, etc.)
- Tool and die fabrication, maintenance, and repair
- Precision measurement and inspection techniques
- CAD/CAM software basics
- Safety standards and quality control processes
What We’re Looking For:
- High school diploma or GED (required)
- Strong math and mechanical aptitude
- A committed and motivated individual
- Eagerness to learn and work with your hands
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Previous shop or technical experience is a plus, but not required
Program Details:
- Duration: [Typically 5 years, however this program is taught in 1 year]
- Combination of: On-the-job training and apprenticeship learning
- Schedule: Mon-Fri, 7am-5pm
