Job Description
Starting pay: $27-$30 / hour tips earned daily
Earning potential- Being dependable and hardworking employee you have the ability to quickly earn a raise in as little as 60 days
Responsibilities
- Qualified applicants must have:
- Proven experience as a professional mover and crew leader
- Experience leading moving crews and managing job sites
- Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate professionally with customers
- Experience driving moving trucks, including long-distance routes
- Familiarity with DOT regulations, including:
- DOT logbooks (ELD or paper logs)
- Pre-trip and post-trip DOT truck inspections
- Ability to load and secure household goods safely
- Professional attitude and appearance at all times
- Reliable transportation and strong work ethic
- Ability to lift heavy furniture and work in physically demanding environments
- Experienced Moving Pianos and Gun Safes
- Additional Requirements:
- Must have proven experience disassembling and reassembling furniture, including but not limited to:
- Beds and bedroom sets
- Sectionals and large furniture
- Treadmills and elliptical machines
- Office furniture
- Other standard household goods
- Must own and bring personal moving tools, including tools necessary for:
- Furniture disassembly and reassembly
- Handling specialty items such as fitness equipment
- General household furniture setup
- Must demonstrate the ability to properly protect and reassemble furniture without damage
- Must pass Drug Screen and Background Check and be Bondable
- Additional Employment Requirements
All applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screening
- Must pass a criminal background check
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must have a clean driving record, including:
- No recent accidents
- No excessive points or major moving violations
- Must demonstrate safe driving habits and experience operating 26-ft moving trucks
- Must understand and follow all DOT regulations
- Must be familiar with:
- DOT logbooks (ELD or paper logs)
- Pre-trip and post-trip DOT vehicle inspections
- Safe vehicle operation and load securement
- Must maintain a professional attitude and appearance at all times
- Must provide excellent customer service and represent the company professionally
- Must have proven experience leading and managing a moving crew, including directing workflow, maintaining efficiency, and ensuring safe handling of household goods.
