Antique Mall Retail Associate
Position Title: Antique Mall Retail Associate

Acts As: Antique Mall Retail Associate/Cashier

Reports to: Head of Antique Mall
Job Description:
The Antique Mall Retail Associate is the heartbeat of the Customers’ antique mall retail experience. This position is responsible for opening and closing procedures, unlocking displays, handling the cash register and POS System. They will guide customers and answer any customer inquiries as well as cleaning and maintaining the shop as needed. This position is vital to the balance of the antique mall sales floor and ensure a smooth shopping experience from beginning to end.
Functions, Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Guide Customers in all aspects.
- Be available to unlock any display cases and take items to register as needed.
- Guide customers and answer and inquiries.
- Communicate any issues or questions with the department head as necessary.
- Be prepared to take items off the walls, using tools and ladders as required.
2. Maintain the storefront.
- Price and label merchandise as needed, making sure that price tags are made visible to customers.
- Straighten merchandise on the floor, maintaining a tidy and visually appealing appearance.
- Recover and return any products to their assigned locations.
- Clean glass on and in displays.
- Sweep floor and around edges of display cases.
- Pick up trash and dispose of it accordingly.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms as needed.
3. Run the cash register/POS system.
- Handle any cash or card-related transactions.
- Enter and maintain dealer data in POS system.
- Wrap and package items for customers, being sure that products are safe and secured.

- Readiness to learn company standards and historical content.
- Ability to handle and count back cash.
- Can use a basic POS system.
- Dependable and strong team player.
- Professional appearance and conduct on the retail floor.
- Ability to stand, walk and assist customers throughout shift.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
Employment Details:
- Position Type: Part-Time or Full-Time (Full time 40 Hours/Week, Part-time 24 Hours/Week.)
- Compensation: 15.00 Hourly Starting Wage.
