A taste of northern Wisconsin nostalgia, with a modern twist! Smokey’s serves up supper club classics with a welcoming atmosphere and a strong sense of tradition. We’re looking for a dependable Line Cook who takes pride in preparing a great food with fresh ingredients in a close-knit kitchen.
Hours: Wednesday - Sunday, 2 PM to 10 PM
This position is in Manitowish Waters, WI. Relocation assistance is available for the right candidate.
Position Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook high-quality menu items with care, consistency and attention to detail.
- Follow proper food preparation, handling and storing practices.
- Apply fundamental cooking techniques and knife skills to support smooth food service.
- Keep work area neat and clean and maintain food prep equipment.
- Work as part of a small team to deliver a great dining experience.
Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent. Culinary degree preferred.
- 3 years of cooking experience preferred.
- Knowledge of health, sanitation and personal hygiene standards.
- Ability to multitask and communicate clearly when the kitchen gets busy.
