We are looking for a motivated, dependable, and dedicated dietitian to provide exceptional direct care and support to our patients and staff. We believe that nutrition plays a vital role in recovery and overall well-being.
- Consult with patients and family members concerning dietary needs and goals
- Coordinate the Dietary Services Department within The Joint Commission standards for food service and assist the Food Services Director as needed.
- Monitor and document patients' care regarding therapeutic diets.
- Review patient’s charts to determine need for nutritional assessments
- Conduct monthly inspections of the Dietary Services Department.
- Provide guidance to the Food Service Manager and other food service staff as needed.
- Consider the implications of the aging process in the provision of nutrition.
- Document patient charts with nutritional planning, and update as changes in nutritional needs occur.
- Communicate the patient's special nutritional needs to the Food Service Supervisor in a timely fashion.
- May inspect meal assembly to ensure trays conform to prescribed diet and meet standards.
- Adhere to facility, department, corporate, personnel, and standard policies and procedures.
- Attend all mandatory facility in-services and staff development activities as scheduled.
- Adhere to facility standards concerning conduct, dress, attendance, and punctuality.
- Support facility-wide quality/performance improvement goals and objectives.
- Maintain confidentiality of facility employees and patient information.
Your Experience Matters What we’re looking for:
- Education & Licensure: Bachelor of Science Degree
- Experience: At least three years of dietary experience in a healthcare facility, with a concentration in nutritional assessment and planning.
- Licensure: Registration with the American Dietetic Association and/or state licensure required.
- Additional Skill Requirements: Flexibility and creativity with a proven ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.

Compensation:
