What are the responsibilities and job description for the Driver position at Smoker Craft Inc?
Smoker Craft, Inc currently has an opening for a Pickup Truck Driver!
This position is responsible for the delivery of aluminum fishing boats, pontoons, and fiberglass boats and parts to our dealer network.
Responsibilities include:
- Traveling to 48 States & Canada!
- Driving a 3/4 Ton Pickup Truck, Ford, Chevy, or Dodge with ELD
- Hauling a single boat bunk trailer
- Occasionally, may be needed to drive a Van to deliver parts to our dealer network
Required skills and experience:
- Valid Driver’s License, Class A CDL is not required but a plus
- Valid Passport for Canada border crossings, or willingness to get one after hire
- Ability to maintain accurate Hours of Service Duty Logs according to DOT regulations
- Occasional bending, stooping, squatting/crouching, climbing, reaching above shoulder level, pushing, and pulling
- Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Repetitive grasping and turning
- Working inside/outside
Compensation/Benefits:
- Paying .55 cents per mile plus Stop Pay
- .02 cents per mile safety bonus paid weekly, if applicable
- Hotel Lodging paid by company
- Meal Per Diems Paid, up to $56/day
- Home on weekends
