Medical Assistant (Outpatient) – Urgent Need
Location: Fort Bragg, CA
Assignment Details

- Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (5 x 8-hour shifts)
- Weekly Hours: 40 hours
Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to support outpatient clinical operations under the supervision of licensed healthcare providers. The role involves performing routine clinical and administrative tasks to ensure efficient patient care delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist physicians, nurse practitioners, and other providers with patient care
- Perform non-invasive clinical procedures and routine technical tasks
- Prepare patients for examinations and procedures
- Take vital signs and maintain accurate patient records
- Support front and back-office functions as needed
- Ensure compliance with facility policies and standards
Requirements:
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED – Required
Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of experience – Required
- 2 years preferred
Certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support) – Required
- CMA (Certified Medical Assistant) or RMA – Preferred
- Phlebotomy Certification – Preferred
Pay: $18.00 - $22.50 per hour
Education:

Experience:
- Recent Medical Assistant : 1 year (Required)
License/Certification:
- BLS Certification (Required)
- Medical Assistant certification (Preferred)
