Job Summary
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Certified Nurse Assistants (CNAs) to join the Montana Mental Health Nursing Care Center. The CNA will provide direct patient care and assist residents with daily living activities while ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily living activities including bathing, oral hygiene, and dressing
- Take and record vital signs accurately
- Collect specimens and assist in emergency situations
- Transport residents to appointments and provide assistance as needed
- Observe, document, and report patient conditions
- Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive environment for residents
- Follow instructions and communicate effectively with healthcare teams
Work Schedule
- 5 shifts of 8 hours or a combination of 8-hour and 12-hour shifts
- Must be flexible to work day, evening, and night shifts
Required Qualifications
- Valid Montana Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) certification
- Minimum of 2 years of CNA or CNA-psych experience
Preferred Qualifications
- CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) Certification
- Must obtain CPI certification within 30 days of start if not already certified
Pay: $1,400.00 - $1,500.00 per week
Experience:
- CNA or CNA-Psych: 2 years (Required)
License/Certification:
- Montana state CNA license (Required)
- BLS Certification (Preferred)
- CPI Certification (Preferred)
