Basic Qualifications
Undergraduate and Graduate Education: Major study -- photography, radio or television production, motion picture production, or other fields related to the position.
Advanced training in a vocational school, technical institute, or art institute above the high school level in one of the fields listed above is creditable as general experience on a month-for-month basis.
OR
Specialized Experience (for positions above GS-5): Experience in the actual type of work for which application is made. Unpaid experience is creditable, provided the work done was of a quality level and demonstrated the ability required for the position. This includes work directly connected with the production aspects of the field(s) of the position to be filled.
In Addition To The Basic Qualification Requirement Above
Experience: You qualify for this position if you have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-11 level in the Federal Service. For this position, specialized experience is defined as experience in managing the technical setup and production of audio-visual and time-based media installations for museum exhibitions, including equipment installation, media integration, system testing, content playback, troubleshooting, and coordination with exhibition designers, curators, and production teams to support the interpretation of historical and cultural artifacts.

In This Position, You Will
- Lead the internal media team to set standards for exhibits media development that ensure the Museum’s media pieces are appropriate, educational, engaging, maintainable, and upgradable.
- Work with team to plan and create Exhibit Media designs for multimedia content by developing timelines, keeping within budgets, while highlighting key messages and themes for each art piece.
- Oversee the installation of audiovisual media elements, coordinating with internal staff, external vendors, and partner organizations to establish timelines, align deliverables, and manage project budgets.
