Smith Sawmill Service is a multi-state manufacturing company that provides services and products that are designed around the ever-changing sawmills, chip mills, paper mills, and pallet manufactures. We are one of the largest saw manufacturing facilities in the country and an exciting place to grow your career.

We are currently looking for a highly skilled, extremely motivated Administrative Assistant/Bookkeeper to join our team at our Timpson Texas Location.

The ideal candidate is an experienced self-starter who enjoys working in a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

· Manage and organize calendar for upper management.

· Arrange travel and accommodations for upper management.

· Some travel may be required.

· Submit expense reports with appropriate compliance documentation, as needed.

· Manage meeting invites for upper management.

· Support meetings as needed.

· A/R Bookkeeping duties.

· Works collaboratively with other team members.

· Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Excellent multi-tasking skills

· Excellent interpersonal skills.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software

· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

· Ability to work independently.
