What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dishwasher/Food Prep position at Smith's Place?
Job Summary
We are seeking experienced and passionate Dishwasher to join our team.
The dishwasher will wash dishes, take garbage out, prep some food, and help out around the restaurant. Preferably an 18 yr for use of the slicer but not required.
Schedule is wed-sat 8am-2pm
Pay is DOE but we are competitive
Duties
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food handling and storage
- Ensure all food safety regulations are followed, including proper knife skills and sanitation procedures
- Cleaning dishes and helping other staff around restaurant
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or culinary roles within a restaurant
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays as needed
