This is a hands-on, high-impact role that bridges operations, quality, and logistics ensuring every product leaving our facility meets exacting standards and every incoming material arrives ready for production.
What You’ll Do
- Receive, verify, and document steel plates, hardware kits, and fabricated components against POs, drawings, and MTRs.
- Maintain complete traceability for materials in compliance with ISO 9001 and customer specifications.
- Prepare and inspect outbound poles, arms, and accessories for quality, accuracy, and proper loading.
- Create and manage BOLs, packing lists, load maps, and shipping packets.
- Plan truck loads for oversized pole shipments, ensuring balance, safety, and DOT compliance.
- Coordinate galvanizing schedules, track loads, and verify finish quality on return.
- Monitor inventory accuracy and proactively communicate material shortages or delays.
- Work closely with Production, QC, Purchasing, and Project Management to prepare accurate shipments.
- Uphold safety standards for rigging, cranes, and forklifts, ensuring a clean, organized, and efficient yard.
- A strong sense of ownership and urgency, you don’t wait for problems; you prevent them.
- Knowledge of steel pole fabrication, BOMs, and reading drawings.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Proven ability to coordinate carriers, trailers, and oversized loads.
- Forklift, crane, or rigging experience preferred.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and time management skills.
