Job Summary
Our company is seeking an experienced and safety-focused Dump Truck Driver to support construction operations by transporting materials to and from job sites. The ideal candidate will operate dump trucks in compliance with all safety, DOT, and company requirements while maintaining a high level of professionalism on active construction sites.
Key Responsibilities
Safely operate dump trucks to transport materials such as dirt, gravel, asphalt, and debris to and from construction sites
Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections in accordance with DOT regulations
Ensure loads are properly secured and distributed
Maintain accurate daily logs, inspection reports, and delivery documentation
Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and jobsite personnel
Follow all OSHA, DOT, and company safety policies and procedures
Assist with basic vehicle maintenance and report mechanical issues promptly
Work in varying weather conditions and on uneven terrain
Travel to multiple job sites as required
Qualifications & Requirements
Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements
DOT Certification
OSHA 10-hour Construction Safety certification (minimum)
Minimum of 3 years of dump truck or heavy equipment driving experience preferred
Clean driving record
Knowledge of construction site safety practices
Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, overtime, and weekends as needed
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical job duties
Preferred Skills
Experience working on active construction sites
Familiarity with local and regional routes
Strong attention to safety and detail
Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
Work Environment:Outdoor construction environments
Exposure to dust, noise, and heavy equipment
Travel may be required depending on project needs
