Smith & Benningfield Construction is hiring an experienced Lead Construction worker/crew lead. We are looking for someone dependable, skilled, and capable of working hands on while helping lead a crew and keep residential construction projects moving effiently.
Our work includes new builds, residential construction, home remodeling,kitchens,and bathrooms, roofing, decks and porches, repairs, and renovations.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of construction experience needed
- Valid drivers liscense required
- Must have your own reliable vehicle
- Must have you own basic construction tools
- Experience with residential construction, remodeling,framing,roofing,decks, and general construction
- Ability to lead and work alongside other crew members
- Assign and coordinate daily job site tasks
- Read measuments , plans and layouts
- Properly operate power and hand tools
- Maintain high quality workmanship
- Help keep projects on schedule
- Maintain a clean and safe job site
- Communicate effectively with owners and crew members
- Dependable , puntual, and able to work independently
- Physically capable of performing construction work
- DRUG FREE
Compensation
$25-$28/ hour depending on experience and skill level.
We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work,can take responsibility on a job site, and doesnt need to be constantly supervised.
