What You'll Do
- Manage dental accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding insurance claims
- Review and interpret Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) accurately
- Submit, track, and appeal insurance claims when necessary.
- Post insurance payments and adjustments correctly.
- Send patient statements and assist with patient account questions.
- Communicated with insurance companies regarding claim status, denials, and outstanding balances.
- Maintain accurate patient insurance information and account records.
- Work closely with the front office and clinical team to ensure timely claim processing and reimbursement.
- Answer phones
Who We're Looking For
- Minimum of 2 years of dental insurance billing experience preferred.
- Stong understanding of PPO dental insurance plans and claim processing.
- Ability to confidently read and interpret EOBs.
- Experience managing dental accounts receivable.
- Familiarity with dental practice management software (Dentrix experience is a plus).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Stong communication and problem-solving abilities.
