Smiles 4 Kids is seeking a full-time Dental Assistant to be a part of our team. We are a pediatric dental practice and the candidate must love working with children. We are looking for an outgoing, friendly and enthusiastic individual. Duties, Responsibilities and Requirements:

* Compassionately performs dental hygiene procedures while ensuring comfort of the patient.

* Educates on the importance of dental hygiene, assists dentist and participates with communicating dental treatment options.

* Must possess verbal and written communication skills.

* Ability to connect with patients and build new relationships.

*Attend and participate in monthly staff meetings, other meetings as requested and in-service trainings.

*Demonstrates strong leadership skills and promotes teamwork.

*Follows all clinical protocols and procedures as outlined in the Provider Handbook.

Previous Dental & Dentrix software experience is recommended, however we will train on the job for the right fit.

The position will be 4-5 days per week Hours of operation are:

Regular Hours: Monday through Thursday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and Friday’s, 7:30 am to 3:00 pm.

Summer Hours: Monday through Friday 7:30 am to 3:00 pm.

Starting salary will be determined depending on experience. Benefits are available after 90 day probationary period.
