Our high-tech pediatric dental practice in Basking Ridge is looking for a full-time Front Desk Coordinator/Assistant Manager. The Coordinator is the first line of customer service for all children and their families entering our office. They will greet patients, check them in, schedule future appointments, and handle incoming phone calls. They will assist in making sure families receive the best possible care as we pride ourselves on going above and beyond to provide an incredible dental experience!
We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys helping families and likes learning new things. The candidate must have a warm, professional demeanor and be computer savvy.

Here's what that looks like day to day, and what we're hoping to find in our next team member:
What Success Looks Like:
- Warmly greet and care for children and their families during their appointment
- Discuss treatment plans and present financial co-payments to parents for procedures accurately and clearly
- Enter and scan patient data, associated documentation, and insurance information with attention to detail
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage appointment schedule
- Verify and enter insurance coverage and benefits correctly, before quoting families
- Collect and post payments at the time of service
- Verify and submit insurance claims, and electronically deposit checks
- Stay on top of daily communications, including voicemail, office email, and patient report follow-up with other health care providers
- Use Open Dental and our digital systems to keep patient records, scheduling, and communication accurate and seamless
- Support practice projects, including marketing, social media, and ongoing schedule review
- Maintain a clean and friendly waiting area
Growing Into the Assistant Manager Role:
As you grow into the Assistant Manager portion of this role, opportunities may include supporting team scheduling and coverage planning, assisting with onboarding and training new front desk team members, helping audit and improve office workflows and protocols, and taking on increasing ownership of practice projects.

- Computer proficient and tech savvy
- Strong, proactive communication with patients and with your team
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively through interruptions
- Ability to interact with children and parents in a caring and thoughtful manner
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
