Registered Dental Hygienist (Part-Time) | Sanford L. Barr, DDS
Sanford L. Barr, DDS is seeking a friendly, patient-focused Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team on a part-time basis. We are looking for a hygienist who is passionate about providing exceptional patient care and building lasting relationships with patients.
Schedule
Part-Time Position
- Wednesday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Friday: 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Appointment Times
- Recall & Periodontal Maintenance Appointments: 60 minutes
- New Patient Appointments: 90 minutes
Compensation
- $55-$60 per hour OR
- 35% of adjusted production
- Compensation structure will be based on experience and qualifications

Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and therapeutic dental hygiene procedures
- Conduct patient assessments and document findings
- Take digital radiographs (X-rays)
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care
- Perform scaling, root planing, and periodontal maintenance as needed
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Collaborate with the doctor and team to deliver excellent patient care
Qualifications
- Active Dental Hygienist license
- Current local anesthesia certification (if required by state law)
- Strong communication and patient education skills
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality care
- Experience preferred, but motivated candidates are encouraged to apply
