Role Description The Human Resources Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Miami, FL. The specialist will manage day-to-day HR activities, including administering HR policies, supporting HR management and personnel processes, and coordinating employee benefits and records. Responsibilities include assisting with recruitment and onboarding, maintaining compliance with employment regulations, responding to employee inquiries, and supporting performance management and training initiatives. The role will also involve collaborating with leadership to improve HR practices, contributing to employee engagement efforts, and ensuring consistent application of HR standards across the organization.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Human Resources (HR) and HR Management, with experience supporting daily HR operations.
- Knowledge of HR Policies and compliance requirements, including local, state, and federal employment regulations.
- Experience with Employee Benefits administration and communication, including enrollment and ongoing support.
- Skills in Personnel Management, including record-keeping, onboarding, and employee lifecycle processes.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work with diverse teams.
- Proficiency with HRIS or similar HR software, and basic skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
- Prior experience in the security, logistics, or corporate services sector is beneficial but not required.
