What are the responsibilities and job description for the Kart Mechanic position at Smedley Group?

FAT Karting League’s mission is to achieve mass participation in motorsport by radically reducing the barriers to entry.
We will run karting events across Indiana throughout the year to cater for drivers with different levels of experience, that creates a pathway from age 6-17.
We are looking for enthusiastic and hard-working mechanics - with a passion for motorsport - to join our technical team.
The role will involve working in the workshop in California during the week and travelling to different karting circuits at the weekends.
Key Responsibilities
Maintenance of a fleet of electric race karts
Maintenance of equipment and hardware associated with karting events
Repairing karts in a pressurised environment at race events
Assisting with the logistics required for live race events
We are looking for a mechanic with at least a year’s experience to join our team to assist in the preparation and maintenance of karts. Ideally you should have experience with race cars, motorbikes or karts.
