The salary range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications. Offers typically fall within this range based on individual qualifications and budget availability. This role supports multiple event activities, manages data and communications, and ensures accuracy and timely completion of assigned tasks in a fast-paced environment.
MAJOR FUNCTIONS:
- Supports the planning and execution of SME events, including conferences, meetings, exhibits and other programs. Assists with event logistics, coordination, and post-event follow-up activities.
- Processes invoices and supports financial tracking related to events in appropriate systems.
- Supports speaker and program coordination, including preparing calls for speakers, managing abstracts, and coordinating communication with speakers, advisors, partners, and stakeholders.
- Inputs and maintains accurate records and databases for customers, prospects, speakers, advisors, and stakeholders.
- Processes exhibit space sales and related tasks in appropriate software applications.
- Prepares and distributes regular reports.
- Organizes correspondence and materials for review and signature; drafts routine communications as needed.
- Coordinates materials and logistics for in-person meetings and virtual meetings, programs, and or events.
- Supports special projects as assigned.
- Answers telephone, screens calls, takes messages, and routes inquiries appropriately.
- Provides on-site event support, as required
- Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM EDUCATION, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- At least three years related administrative or event support experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.
- Strong organizational, time management, and communications skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast paced environment.
- Working knowledge of database and or event management systems.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
