Technical Support Representative
SmartTalent is seeking a detail-oriented Technical Support professional to provide product support and troubleshooting assistance to customers. This role is responsible for responding to inquiries, resolving technical issues, and helping customers successfully implement products within their applications. The position also partners closely with internal teams, including sales and engineering, to communicate customer needs, improve product functionality, and support overall customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, a technical background, and the ability to communicate complex information in a clear and professional manner.
LOCATION: Everett, WA
PAY: $22 - $26 DOE
SCHEDULE:
Monday–Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm

Key Responsibilities
· Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email regarding product functionality and usage
· Troubleshoot and resolve issues customers experience when implementing products in their applications
· Document technical issues and evaluate potential solutions
· Communicate product issues and improvement suggestions to the engineering team
· Develop technical resources, including how-to documentation, sample projects, and instructional videos
· Provide technical support to the sales team before and after purchase when deeper product knowledge is needed
· Assess customer needs and route inquiries appropriately between technical support and sales
· Create and manage support tickets within an internal system for tracking and resolution
· Deliver product training to customers
· Review and evaluate new products and training materials
· Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
· Previous experience in a technical help desk or support role is preferred
· Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
· CompTIA certification a plus but not required
· Familiarity with industrial control systems, HMIs, OITs, PCs, and PLCs
· Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Customer service experience
