SmartTalent Staffing is looking to hire Warehouse Associate for a retail distribution in Auburn, WA. Ideal candidate will be motivated to work full time and have a positive attitude (details below).

TITLE & SHIFT: Warehouse Associate

LOCATION: Auburn, WA

SCHEDULE: Day shift or Swing shift

PAY: $18 (day) or $19 (swing)

ABOUT THE JOB:

Experience working in a small team environment with a flexible, multi-role approach. Skilled in inspection, auditing, and quality control processes. Proficient in inventory control fundamentals, including cycle counting, inventory audits, and product movement. Cross-trained across various departments such as order picking, packaging, returns, e-commerce operations, and value-added services (VAS).

JOB DUTIES:

·        Able to pick and pack merchandise orders accurately and meet minimum productivity picking and packing standards.

·        Able to pick merchandise from specific locations via paper pick ticket, RF or voice directed commands.

·        Able to use a headset for interactive communication with voice-directed picking system.

·        Able to pack orders neatly and correctly into appropriately sized box to avoid bending, crushing, shifting, or leaking of items in transit.

·        General housekeeping of the warehouse work areas as needed i.e., disposes of empty boxes and packaging appropriately into proper recycle/disposal containers to maintain safe and clean working conditions.

·        Stamina to stand, walk, push, or pull cartons or pick carts and perform repetitive duties for entire work shift.

·        Confirmed MSRP ticket matches poly label on outside packaging

Assign unit location

·        Print MSRP ticket & attach with swift tacking to product

SKU identification

Steaming & folding of apparel units

·        Perform value added services (VAS)

·        Sort product into case by SKU

·        Identify condition of product (defects – stains, holes, etc)

Tagging – swift taching MSRP tickets to product

Repackage product using various components ie: various bag sizes

·        Other tasks delegated from supervisor

REQUIREMENTS:

·        Good attendance is an absolute must!

·        Must have reliable transportation (this location is not bus accessible)

·        Physically able to lift up to 50bs

·        Must be able work in a fast paced environment

·        Great team player

·        Ability to work in a three-story pick mod and be able to continuously climb and descend stairs safely

·        Agility to bend, twist, stoop and reach above shoulders to floor-level & upper shelving, conveyor, and merchandise pallets.

·        Previous apparel experience preferred but not required

·        Stand duration of shift and perform repetitive tasks up to 8 hours with overtime when needed
