SmartTalent is seeking an experienced Quality Inspection CMM Programmer/Operator. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with CMM programming, dimensional inspection, and quality control processes within a manufacturing environment.
Quality Inspection CMM Programmer/Operator
Location: Sumner, WA
Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour. DOE
Shift: Days
Key Responsibilities & Essential Functions
· Program and operate CMM equipment
· Perform first article, in process, and final inspections
· Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T
· Use precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, and gauges
· Document inspection results and maintain quality records
· Work closely with production and engineering teams to resolve quality concerns
Qualifications
· 3 years of experience as a CMM Programmer/Operator
· 3 years of experience in Quality Inspection in the aerospace industry
· 3 years of CMM Manager Software Programming and operating experience
· Working knowledge of AS9100/AS9102/ISO9001/ITAR standards and regulations
· Experience with quality inspection in a manufacturing environment
· Strong understanding of GD&T and blueprint reading
· Experience with inspection software preferred
· High attention to detail and accuracy
· Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Work Environment
· Manufacturing/ machine shop setting
· Standing or sitting for extended periods may be required
