W2 ONLY | 6-Month Contract (Extendable)
Locations: Vienna, VA | Winchester, VA | Pensacola, FL | San Diego, CA (Hybrid – Open to all locations)
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced IT Engineer to research, evaluate, design, implement, and maintain system and product solutions within a large enterprise environment. This role provides technical direction, engineering support, and requires strong expertise in modern IT engineering technologies and infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Research, design, and implement IT systems and solutions using engineering best practices.
- Provide technical direction and support across infrastructure and project initiatives.
- Maintain expert-level knowledge of evolving IT engineering technologies, industry trends, and competitive solutions.
- Support critical enterprise platforms with a focus on virtualization and Citrix technologies.
Required Skills & Experience
Citrix Expertise (Highly Preferred)
- Hands-on experience with Citrix Studio, Citrix Policies, Citrix DaaS, App Layering, Machine Creation Services, FSLogix Profile Container, and Application Masking.
- Strong understanding of:
- Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (formerly XenApp/XenDesktop)
- Citrix NetScaler (including networking policies)
- StoreFront
- Citrix Cloud
Certifications (Preferred)
- Citrix Certified Associate (CCA)
- CCA-V – Virtualization
- CCA-AppDS – App Delivery & Security
- Citrix Certified Professional (CCP)
- CCP-V – Virtualization
- CCP-AppDS – App Delivery & Security
- Citrix Certified Expert (CCE)
- CCE-V – Virtualization
