The PeopleSoft System Administrator will manage the ERP environments including installation, configuration, maintenance, and monitoring of all components and technical aspects of the web, application, integration, and batch tiers.
As needed, the PeopleSoft System Administrator will perform tools and application (PUM) upgrades, patching, change assistant runs, system compare reports, DMS/SQL/Linux script executions, code migrations, and performance tuning.
This role works closely with management, functional/development teams, infrastructure groups, and business stakeholders to accomplish projects and address factors impacting system requirements or performance.
Strong troubleshooting and research skills are required for resolving application issues, managing vendor-related bug fixes, and supporting project efforts.
Some tasks—including patching, upgrades, production releases, and on-call rotation—will require after-hours monitoring and execution to maintain system health, minimize outages, and ensure effective communication and timely issue resolution.
Role and Responsibilities
- Perform regular maintenance and monitoring of the PeopleSoft (STARS) environments to ensure system availability, performance, and efficiency.
- Collaborate with functional and development teams to support migrations, configurations, production support, enhancements, and project efforts.
- Conduct troubleshooting as needed to resolve performance, error, and availability issues within the application.
- Coordinate with the PeopleSoft System Administrator, Oracle DBA, and Server teams to perform required patching and upgrades.
Scheduled Milestones and Deliverables
- Daily: Perform maintenance and monitoring for both Production and Non-Production PeopleSoft (STARS) environments. Ensure maximum availability, reliability, performance, security, and integrity of production and disaster recovery applications through routine monitoring of ERP applications, job statuses, log files, audit trails, and overall system health.
- As Needed: Perform project-related tasks, upgrades, migrations, and implementation of bug fixes in support of functional and development team activities.

Requirements
Education:
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related
Experience:
7 years of experience as an Application System Administrator supporting PeopleSoft HCM and/or FSCM environments, both in production and non-production
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
People Tools 8.58 or above
Oracle SQL
Integration Broker configuration
Process Scheduler configuration
PeopleSoft Domain configuration
WebLogic configuration
Solid written and verbal communication skills
Must be able to work well within a team and be independently motivated
Solid Linux/Unix scripting skills
Strong technical troubleshooting skills
- Convictions, probation, or deferred adjudication for any Felony, and any Class A Misdemeanor
