Commercial Sales Representative – Painting Services
We’re looking for a driven B2B sales professional who thrives on opening doors, building relationships, and owning a territory from prospecting through project execution. This is a full-cycle, hunter role focused on growing business within the managed commercial property space.
What You’ll Do
Prospecting & Lead Generation

Proactively identify and develop new business within commercial and managed properties

Generate your own leads through cold calls, emails, networking events, and in-person drop-ins
Relationship Building
-
Build long-term relationships with property managers, facility managers, and decision-makers

Position the company as a trusted partner for repaint and ongoing maintenance projects

Actively participate in industry associations and networking groups
Market Development

Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and association meetings

Strengthen brand awareness while building a consistent pipeline of qualified opportunities
Opportunity Qualification

Evaluate project opportunities for scope, fit, and profitability before engaging estimating or operations teams
Collaboration & Handoff

Work closely with estimating and operations to ensure clean, accurate handoffs from sale to production

Provide detailed project information to support smooth execution
Site Visits

Conduct site walks for active and prospective projects to assess scope and customer needs
CRM & Pipeline Management

Maintain accurate, real-time CRM records of all outreach, contacts, and opportunities

Support forecasting, reporting, and pipeline visibility
Project Involvement

Periodically participate in painting projects to better understand the work, customer expectations, and crews

What We’re Looking For
Must Have

Proven B2B service sales experience

Experience running the full sales cycle from prospecting to close

Track record of self-generated leads

Strong CRM and sales technology experience

Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
Nice to Have

Experience in painting, coatings, or commercial trades (past hands-on experience counts)
