- Assist with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, nap times, and hygiene practices
- Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing personalized care
- Maintain a clean and organized environment that adheres to health and safety standards
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress and any concerns
- Manage classroom behavior using positive reinforcement techniques to foster respectful interactions
Skills
- Proven experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or similar settings
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices
- Ability to perform first aid and CPR; certifications highly preferred
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special education needs
- Strong classroom management skills to create a nurturing learning environment
