Role: IBM Watson Chatbot Developer
Location: Hartford, CT- Onsite
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and optimize chatbots and virtual assistants using IBM Watson Assistant/Watson Orchestrate.
- Develop dialog flows, intents, entities, and context variables to support intelligent, natural conversations.
- Integrate Watson chatbots with enterprise applications, CRMs, and back-end systems using APIs, Node.js, Java, or Python.
- Implement multi-channel deployments (web, mobile, WhatsApp, Slack, MS Teams, voice assistants).
- Collaborate with UX teams to design conversation flows and personas that improve user engagement.
- Leverage Watson Discovery for knowledge-based chatbot enhancements and document search.
- Apply NLP/NLU techniques to train and continuously improve chatbot accuracy.
- Work with cloud platforms (IBM Cloud, AWS, Azure, GCP) for scalable chatbot deployment.
- Ensure chatbot performance, monitoring, and analytics for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate in Agile teams, participate in sprint planning, and document chatbot use cases.
