Power Platform Developer
Smart Data Solutions, a leading provider of data management, claim routing and workflow solutions to health plans and TPAs, is looking for a Power Platform Developer to join our team!
What you’ll be doing?
As a Power Platform Developer your top goals will be to build Model-Driven PowerApps, automate data processes with Power Automate, build Power BI reports.
- Develop and implement solutions using Power Platform tools and focusing on Power Automate and data management in M365 for a large financial services customer.
- Identify and implement strategies to enhance the efficiency of M365 environments using CoPilot and other relevant services.
- Provide training and support to team members on Power Platform and M365 tools.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in Power Platform and M365 technologies.
- Use data modeling techniques to build PowerBI-based dashboards to solve real-world issues.
- Collaborate and engage with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and Domain experts to gain operational insights.
- Participate in technical communities to stay informed of best practices and changes within the broader discipline and share them with the organization
- Educate users and stakeholders on self-service solutions.
- Effectively contract and communicate with customers, partners, and co-workers to define deliverables, timelines, and responsibilities.

What we’re looking for?
Required skills:
- Proven experience from Power platform is required and can be from Power Apps low code development or from Power automate tools.
- Experience with other RPA tools (e.g., UiPath, Automation Anywhere)
- Proven experience in Power BI
- Familiarity with M365 tools such as Lists, Forms, Pages, and Loop.
- Knowledge of efficiency-enhancing services within the M365 environment, including CoPilot.
- Proficiency in Power Automate, Power Apps, and Power BI.
- Experience with Dataverse, SharePoint, Teams, and Azure services is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Good presentation and communication skills
- 3 years of experience in power automate or Model-Driven PowerApps.
- 2 years of experience defining, building, releasing, and evangelizing PowerBI dashboards or equivalent reporting platforms such as Tableau.
- 4 years of experience in writing SQL.
- Proven experience from Power platform is required and can be from Power Apps low code development or from Power automate tools.
- Familiarity with M365 tools such as Lists, Forms, Pages, and Loop.
- Knowledge of efficiency-enhancing services within the M365 environment, including CoPilot.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- 3 years of experience in robotic process automation tools
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in either Azure Analysis Services, SSAS, OR advanced data modeling within PowerBI
- BS/BA in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Business, or a related field
- Proficient with SQL Azure, Azure Services, and Azure Data Factory
- Previous Data Center exposure/experience is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to work in ambiguous situations and across organizational boundaries
- Willingness to adapt quickly to shifting business priorities
- Attention to detail and high commitment to accuracy and auditing
Location: Smart Data Solutions is located in Perungudi, Chennai, TN, India
Position type and expected hours of work: This is a full-time position. Typical days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 4:00 p.m. to 1 a.m IST.
