About the Role

We are seeking an outgoing and motivated Event Coordinator to join our team! You will be the face of our brand at local trade shows, home and garden expos, fairs, and community events.

Your goal is simple: engage with homeowners, build excitement around our window and bath products, and schedule free in-home estimates for our sales team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants a reliable hourly wage with the opportunity to earn significant commission for every appointment that sits or sells!

Key Responsibilities

  • Event Setup: Help set up and break down our professional event displays, ensuring our booth looks inviting and showcases our best window and bath products.
  • Engage Attendees: Actively greet people at events, start friendly conversations, and introduce them to the Smart Choice brand.
  • Qualify Leads: Ask the right questions to identify homeowners who are looking to renovate their windows or bathrooms.
  • Schedule Appointments: Set up free in-home consultations for our sales specialists, ensuring accurate dates and times are recorded.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain clear and accurate records of potential leads and customer information.
  • Represent the Brand: Maintain a professional appearance and attitude, representing the company with integrity and enthusiasm.
  • Collaborate: Work with the sales team to ensure leads are handed off smoothly for follow-up.

Requirements

  • Personality: You must be outgoing, friendly, and comfortable approaching people you don’t know.
  • Reliability: Punctuality and reliable transportation to various event sites are a must.
  • Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturdays and Sundays), as this is when most shows and events take place.
  • Stamina: Ability to stand and interact with the public for extended periods during show hours.
  • Experience: Previous experience in brand ambassadorship, retail, or customer service is a plus, but a great attitude is most important!
