PART TIME (position 1)
2 PM - 10 PM MONDAY- FRIDAY AND EVERY OTHER WEEKEND 8 AM-8 PM
We are seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as Direct Support Professionals. As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a crucial role in providing care and support to individuals in need within a home care setting.
Duties
- Assist individuals with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Provide emotional support and companionship
- Administer first aid when necessary
- Assist with heavy lifting and transferring of individuals
- Implement care plans tailored to the specific needs of each individual
- Work with people with autism, memory care needs, and other cognitive challenges
- Support individuals in their home and community environments
- Ensure the safety and well-being of those under your care
- Transportation to Day Hab and appointments
Requirements
- Experience or training in caregiving or related fields
- Ability to lift and move individuals when needed
- Knowledge of home health practices and procedures
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- High School diploma
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $14.75 per hour
