Role Title: AI Security Architect with Exp Cybersecurity (AI/ML Security) in GA
Location: Atlanta, GA
Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire (CTH within 60 days)

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced AI Security Architect with a strong Cybersecurity/Security Architecture background and recent AI/ML project experience. This role will lead the design, implementation, and governance of secure AI solutions, with a focus on AWS cloud environments and AI-specific security risks.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure architectures for AI/ML systems in AWS
• Define and enforce security policies, standards, and best practices for AI development and deployment
• Conduct AI/ML-specific threat modeling, risk assessments, and mitigation strategies
• Provide architectural leadership for secure integration with AWS Bedrock (AgentCore)
• Evaluate and implement AI security tools for data protection, access control, and adversarial threat prevention
• Collaborate with engineering and data science teams to embed security across the DevSecOps lifecycle
• Lead incident response for AI-related security events
• Stay updated on evolving AI security threats, cloud security trends, and compliance standards

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience in cloud security architecture (AWS preferred)
• Hands-on experience with AWS security services, including AWS Bedrock / AgentCore
• Strong understanding of AI/ML security risks:
  • Data poisoning
  • Model evasion
  • Adversarial attacks
  • Data privacy and model governance
• Experience securing ML pipelines and data workflows
• Familiarity with security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications such as AWS Certified Security – Specialty, CISSP
• Experience working in regulated environments
