What We're Looking For: Manufacturing Engineer
- The Manufacturing engineer supports the development, optimization and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes to ensure high quality and efficient production processes.
What You'll Do:
- Design, develop and optimize manufacturing processes considering efficiency, safety and quality for different HVAC products.
- Work with multifunctional teams to develop factory lay out for production areas.
- Collaborate with cross- functional teams to support new product launches.
- Work closely with materials team to develop strategy for material presentation in production lines.
- Lead machinery installation and commissioning process for new production lines.
- Identify CTQ’s in each product and determine the correct process to ensure quality.
- Identify KPI’s for manufacturing process and track performance.
- Implement and sustain Lean Manufacturing across the facility.
- Create standard work, work instructions and standard operating procedures for manufacturing process.
- Installed capacity analysis to determine bottlenecks and plans for improvements.
- Lean principles evaluation for final layout.
- Lead Manufacturing check samples and pilot runs for each of the new products launched.
What You'll Bring:
Skills and Competencies:
- Experience implementing lean strategies.
- Hands -on experience with automation projects.
- Proficiency in CAD software.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Must be able to walk, stand, and inspect shopfloor environments daily.
- Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs may be required.
- Must comply with all plant safety and PPE requirements.
Education and Experience:
- 1-3 years of experience in manufacturing operations
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related technical field (Master’s preferred).
- Engineering experience, preferably in HVAC, metal fabrication, or complex assembly manufacturing.
