Job Description:
Small Town Senior Living and The Courtyard is seeking compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and/or Caregivers to join our team. Our facility provides exceptional care to our residents, and we are looking for individuals who are passionate about helping others and making a positive difference in their lives.
Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents.
- Help residents with mobility and transfers, including the use of assistive devices.
- Monitor and report any changes in residents’ health or behavior to administrative staff.
- Assist with meal preparation and ensuring residents’ nutritional needs are met.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents, including light housekeeping tasks.
- Assist with medication reminders and administration as directed by administrate/nursing staff.
- Participate in resident activities and encourage social engagement.
- Document care provided and maintain accurate records in accordance with facility policies.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current CNA certification (for CNA positions).
- Previous experience as a CNA preferred, but not required.
- Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with residents, families, and staff.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow care plans.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical ability to perform the tasks required, including lifting and transferring residents.
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Must have excellent work ethic and dependability.
