SMACKIN is hiring a Head of Growth to own and execute our paid media strategy across channels. This person will be directly responsible for building, launching, managing, optimizing, and scaling campaigns. This is not a “big-picture only” leadership role. This is a hands-on operator role for someone who lives in the ad accounts, understands performance creative, and knows how to turn media buying into profitable growth. You will oversee all paid ads execution, but you must also be the one pushing the buttons. No outsourcing. No hiding behind agencies. No passing work off to vendors. You will own performance.
This role is ideal for someone who is both strategic and highly tactical. Someone who can zoom out, see the full funnel, and then go into the account and make the changes themselves.
- Full ownership of paid media strategy and execution across Meta, TikTok, Google, YouTube, and other paid acquisition channels
- Daily in-platform campaign management, optimization, budget allocation, testing, and scaling
- Creative testing strategy in partnership with internal creative team
- Building and managing campaign structure, audiences, bids, placements, attribution analysis, and reporting
- Driving customer acquisition while improving efficiency, contribution margin, and payback
- Developing testing roadmaps for hooks, offers, landing pages, formats, angles, and audience segments
- Identifying scale opportunities across prospecting, retargeting, retention, and full-funnel media strategy
- Working cross-functionally with ecommerce, creative, partnerships, and leadership to align growth efforts with launches, promotions, and product drops
- Monitoring and reporting on CAC, MER, ROAS, AOV, LTV, CVR, and other key business metrics
- Turning insights into action quickly without needing layers of approval or outside support
- 5 years of experience in growth marketing, performance marketing, or paid media buying
- Proven experience scaling paid social and digital acquisition for an ecommerce or consumer brand
- Deep hands-on expertise in Meta Ads Manager is required
- Strong hands-on experience in TikTok Ads and Google Ads is strongly preferred
- You have personally managed and scaled significant monthly ad spend
- You are highly analytical and know how to diagnose performance issues fast
- You understand what makes direct response creative work and how paid media and creative work together
- You can build strategy, but you are also fully comfortable executing every part of it yourself
- You do not rely on agencies to do the real work
