Join our accounting team as a Staff Accountant. You'll be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and supporting month-end close procedures for a diverse portfolio of clients.

Responsibilities

• ■Prepare and review complex individual and business tax returns, including multi-state and international filings.
• ■Compile, review, and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP and applicable reporting standards.
• ■Provide strategic tax planning and advisory services to clients, ensuring their understanding and satisfaction.
• ■Assist clients in identifying tax-saving opportunities, deductions, and credits to minimize tax liabilities.
• ■Coordinate with the IRS and state tax authorities on audits, notices, and other correspondence on behalf of clients.
• ■Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws, regulations, and industry trends to provide accurate and current guidance.
• ■Support clients throughout the year with quarterly estimated tax payments, projections, and proactive planning.
• ■Maintain accurate client records, documentation, and compliance with privacy and security regulations.
• ■Provide exceptional customer service to clients, addressing inquiries, concerns, and providing timely and accurate information.
• ■Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accurate recording and reconciliation of financial transactions.
  
  

Qualifications

• ■Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• ■Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in public accounting, tax, operations, or a similar role.
• ■Strong understanding of financial reporting, compliance requirements, and applicable regulations.
• ■Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients.
• ■Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• ■Attention to detail and accuracy in preparing financial documentation.
• ■Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• ■Dedication to maintaining client confidentiality and upholding ethical standards.
