Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Machinist located in Carney, OK. The Machinist will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining a variety of machine tools, including lathes, milling machines, and grinders.
Duties will include interpreting technical drawings, measuring and verifying production dimensions, troubleshooting equipment issues, and ensuring that all work meets quality and safety standards. The role requires collaboration with team members to complete production schedules and maintain smooth operations on the shop floor.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in operating manual and CNC machinery, such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders
- This role will be responsible for running manual lathes to thread housings
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications
- Experience with measurement tools such as gauges, micrometers, and calipers
- Knowledge of machine maintenance and troubleshooting
- Understanding of safety protocols and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet high-quality standards
- Good communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced production environment
- Prior experience or certification in machining or related technical training is preferred
