Here’s what else you’ll enjoy as part of our team: • Competitive total compensation package including medical, dental, orthodontia, vision, FSA/HSA, generous PTO accrual, 10 paid holidays, 401(k) retirement account with company matching program, company paid life insurance, short & long term disability insurance, and employee assistance program. • Full-time, permanent role with opportunities for professional growth and advancement Required Qualifications · Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering · Licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Nevada, or the ability to obtain within 6 months · 8+ years of experience · Working knowledge of Engineering software including, but not limited to: Civil Design & Grading (Civil 3D) · Depending on area of specialization, specialty software to include: Hydrology & Hydraulics (HEC HMS, HEC RAS); or Geotechnical Design (GeoStudio, Rocscience) · Possess valid driver's license · Willing to travel by car and airplane, including travel for domestic projects Preferred Qualifications · M.Sc. preferred · Willing to travel for international projects Personal Attributes and Traits · Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and judgment capabilities · Ability to learn new engineering topics and software quickly · Demonstrated ability to follow direction and work in a team environment · Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills · Excellent time management skills · Needs little oversight, can be a self-starter · Thinks and plans ahead · Willingly accepts assigned tasks (“can-do / will-do”) with initiative to take on more Key Responsibilities · Lead and take professional ownership of projects in a technical capacity · Perform engineering work for industrial and mining projects · Visit project sites for the purpose of data collection and monitoring, performing investigations and / or performing construction inspection services · Utilize a variety of computer programs including AutoCAD Civil 3D software and software noted above to undertake designs and computations · Write memos and calculation packages to document work performed Diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I) are at the core of who we are and want to be.
