Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service throughout their visit
• Prepare a wide range of non-alcoholic beverages, including coffee, tea, smoothies, and specialty drinks with precision and care
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process sales accurately and efficiently
• Handle cash transactions, process payments, give correct change, and balance registers at shift end
• Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food handling stations, beverage prep areas, and seating spaces
• Ensure food safety standards are upheld during food preparation and beverage service
• Assist with retail sales transactions by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and managing inventory as needed
• Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure quality and safety in all food-related activities
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining high standards of service

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or café environments with barista experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of beverage preparation techniques and coffee industry standards
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient transaction processing
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic approach to engaging guests
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and transaction processing
• Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours
• Experience in retail sales transactions and cash handling procedures
